So what is a hookah? What’s the difference between hookah and vaping?
Hookah uses tobacco, vaping uses e-liquid
A hookah is a water pipe that is used to smoke flavored and sweetened tobacco. Other names for hookah are narghile, argileh, shisha, hubble-bubble, shisha, and Goza. The pipe is usually quite large with one or more flexible tubing stems that allow multiple smokers to inhale at the same time. High-quality charcoal is usually made from coconut shells, mid-level charcoal is usually made from wood, and cheap. Quick lite charcoal is made from who-knows-what and is covered by sketchy lighter fluid.
The e-cigarette can refer to any vaping device. Other common names are personal vaporizer (sometimes shortened to PV), vape, or mod. Different vaporizers support the vaping of different materials. E-juice, also called e-liquid is the primary material used in vaporizers, and consists of a PG (propylene glycol) and VG (vegetable glycerin) base, flavorings, and may or may not contain nicotine. The user inhales the liquid and it’s meant to mimic the action of smoking. Expect for the nicotine, all the ingredients in e-liquid are food-grade. E-liquid flavors are ridiculously diverse. You can stick to standard fruit stuff, or you can go wild with an assortment of dessert, candy, beverage, even cereal flavors.
Hookah uses coals for heat, vaping uses electricity
Charcoal is separated from tobacco by perforated aluminum foil. That’s probably not true, though. Hookah smoke also contains other chemicals that can harm the body when they’re breathed deeply into your lungs.
A vaporizer usually consists of the battery, main console or housing, cartridges, an atomizer or cartomizer. The battery generates the power for the heating element in the atomizer or cartomizer, which contacts the vaping material and transforms it into vapor for inhalation.
The best thing you can do for your health is to avoid all tobacco products because none of them are considered safe.
